The festival is made possible by support from the IU Ottoman and Modern Turkish Studies Chair, the Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center, the IU Turkish Student Association and the Peasant Disco. This annual festival is organized by Turkish student volunteers. This year's festival is presented by Ihsan Topaloglu, Sinem Siyahhan, and Turgay Bayraktar.

The screening of “Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul”, a documentary on the music scene in Istanbul, on Saturday, March 27th follows the Peasant Disco; a unique international dance party in Bloomington focusing on music from the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Central Asia including Turkey.
